So has anyone tried out FSW yet?
I've been playing around with it and like it so far. On my system I get frame rates ranging from 16 around KSFO to 58 around CYXY everything maxed.
Graphics are very smooth even at 16fps.
With only GA aircraft available I've been brushing up on my vrf and radio nav skills. lol

HP with I7 3.4
12 gb ram
GTX 970 graphics card

Here are some pics a little north of YXY.
I believe that DTG (Dovetail Games) has teamed with Orbx for their scenery and are using FTX Global as their base mesh.

This shot is of Windy Arm just outside of Carcross showing the Carcross Skagway highway.

Clouds look a little washed out but they are working on that.
Also at this time you cannot set date and time and they have no real weather option. Hopefully this will be rectified.

Apparently they are using FSX as the base for the sim but in 64bit. A lot of the commands are the same.
You can purchase it through Steam for about $29.00C.

There are several videos on Youtube.
