A problem has just cropped up with my iFly 737.
It stutters during taxiing, takeoff and landing.
I am pretty sure it is not the graphics settings. The problem doesn't show up with other payware planes or default planes.
I am sure it is a problem with the internal computations, maybe running out of memory.

I am running an HP with i7 3.4g processor, 12 gb ram and a GTX 970 graphics card.
I haven't posted in the iFly support forums yet but did check the forum for any solutions.
I am running the latest version 3.2.2 of Ifly 737 in FSX-Steam.

Any thoughts before I try a reinstall?

I don't have the 737 from Ifly but I find that stutters can sometimes be fixed by deleting the "Shaders" and "Shaders10" folders in FSX and letting it rebuild them, OK maybe not delete them just move or rename them just in case you don't like the end result.
It might be worth trying this before reinstall.

Shot in the dark, try not using DX10 preview or whatever it is.

Not using DX10.
Tried the shaders folders delete but didn't work.
I did have one successful flight using fullscreen but, this morning the stuttering was back.

I did discover though that FSX loses connection with Cvacars in fullscreen mode.

Yeah, I'm going Window mode from now on. If I remember right, only way to undock panels onto other screens.

Try these settings:
http://www.simforums.com/forums/drivers-nv-inspector-fsxcfg-complete-guide_topic36586.html

This is long and drawn out, but there's really good tweaks in here:
http://www.simforums.com/forums/the-fsx-computer-system-the-bible-by-nickn_topic46211.html

I've moved all my paging and temp folders out of C. He rambles a lot in the beginning, but hang in there. I also don't do absolutely everything he says; like the total stripping of services and software, or the manual timing of RAM, his antivirus stuff (I only have defender running), I didn't bother with that. I am going to disable all that google stuff right now though.

I also use 2 SSDs; 250GB for Windows, 500GB for apps. They are ordinary Samsung 850 EVO drives, but that's great enough for me coming from standard speed hard disk drives.

I keep old hard disk drives for backups, or videos when I get around to copying my home movies.

If you are doing flights that don't require Cvacars you can setup all your panels in windows mode and then switch to fullscreen and your panels will still be there.

Once I get set up, my flights will always be on CVacars.

I don't mind the windows. They get saved with the flight, so they're all set up like I like them when I reload the flight.

This is my post in the iFly forums.
If anyone can think of a possible solution I would appreciate it. :)

My iFly 737 has developed a stuttering problem at airports. Tried playing with the graphics but makes no difference. Also checked for background programs and updates but, couldn't find anything.
It crops up when I am making a turn. For example if I pusback with no turn there is no stuttering. If I pushback with a turn, left or right, stuttering starts as soon as it begins the turn. Also when taxiing straight there is no stuttering but, as soon as I input a turn with the joystick it begins to stutter. The greater the turn the worse the stuttering. The stuttering lasts for a few seconds up to 1 to 2 minutes.
There is no problem with default aircraft or my PMDG and Level D aircraft. Only The iFly 737 exhibits this problem.
I am running FSX Steam in windows 10 on an i7 3.4 ghz system with 12 gb ram and Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card.
iFly version 3.2.2

Easy solution, trade your piece-of-crap GTX 970 for my super-awesome GTX 950. :D

This is the reply that I receiived from iFly forums along with my reply:

"Hi,

Has anything changed with your pc - any new programs, etc.?

Also, please delete the "fsuipc.ini" file and let FSUIPC rebuild it (you'll need to reapply any custom settings). While I don't think it works "part time" you should also check that FSUIPC auto save is not running."
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Thank you very much. Deleting the fsuipc.ini file and letting it rebuild seems to have solved the problem.
I had originally thought fsuipc might be the problem so uninstalled it and reinstalled it but never thought to make sure the ini file had been deleted.

The only piece of software that I can think of that I had reinstalled recently is the Level D 767. It is quite heavily fsuipc dependant so I will have to keep an eye on it.

Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for the offer, Robert but, I think I will hang on to the 970 lol. ;)

That's good news you managed to get it back up. :P

I also have a GTX 560 TI in the system, I just ran out of characters in my sig to list it. :D

Surprisingly, for a card several generations older, it's benchmarked on some sites as being practically identical to the 950. The 950 was better on a few tests, but I got them 'cause they take a LOT less power (less heat) and were affordable.

Come to think of it, I should be getting those two $30 gift cards from ASUS soonday.

Well, I've finally given up trying to resolve the stuttering issue with the iFly 737. I'm pretty sure it has to do with fsuipc and steam, but cannot resolve it. I never had a problem with FSX boxed version.
I have purchased PMDG's 737 ngx and it works like a charm. I do have to admit that I prefer the iFly 2d panels as they are much easier to read.
