Well I have tried "Active Sky Next" for 3 days now, and have had 4 flights that just froze, no error message, nothing, had to force a reboot to get going again, I cant remember the last time I had a freeze up like that, the only thing changed was "Active Sky 2012" to "Active Sky Next" It was the trial version so I am glad I didn't pay to be a beta tester. released two days ago and there is already 11 pages of problems on the forum.

I have been also testing the demo version and plan to do more flights during the weekend. I like the speed of weather loading and the weather seems to be more accurate than that of REX real time weather I have been using up to now. I am using the VATSIM weather and especially the dense fogs we had here for few days were very nice in the NEXT.
The only minus I have noticed so far is the cloud cover disappearing quickly and returning with quick head movements when using the TrackIr5. So far only one case of freezing but that could have been my own fault by pressing the mouse too many times.
Have to do more testing but at the moment no decision made to purchase.

Tried out ASN for a few days now and am realy impressed. Have used AS2012, Opus, and a few others. No problems with ASN at all, in fact it is working very well for me. Turbulence i clouds, across elevation changes etc. is done really well.
I like how fast it loads, the importing of FS flight plans (use PFPX to create my routes now and export it from there). All in all, no problems at all, use AS2012 textures that I love, and will continue to use it.

The Majestic Dash 1.008 and ASN seem to have caused some turbulence issues. I lost it also once when switching off the autopilot during ils landing to EFHK. Air traffic control had to call for the broom crew to collect all the pieces. Other than that no new issues. Worked quite nicely yesterday. Still have three days to test, but feeling positive now.
What change did you make to the fsx.cfg, Cal?
