Just saw a couple videos of free track being used looks really cool. Has anyone used this with fsx. Is it worth my time. And if so how did you do it thanks.

Yeah but isnt the track Ir like "200 dollars. Cause from what I have seen I can do free track for like 40 tops just want to know if its worth it. Cause for christmas this year I am already upgrading my desktop then shortly after is anniversary thats when I get my yoke and rudders so if this 40 dollar free track is garbage which very well might be then I will have to wait awhile for the track ir

Hi,
i have used this free track long back, this stuff work well with fsx, but to configure the system with the software is painful, Basically you need a webcam, a film piece to cover the lens of web cam, 3 good quality led light 2 3volts battery for the led light a cap and piece of aluminum wire where the led lights to fit, and if you configure that extreme good you don't need the 200 dollar track lr stuff , for me it cost only less than 4 dollars.
Give a try
Regards
sudeer.

TrackIR 5 Good to go out of the box, Not much for configuration, you can do tweaking if you want $4.00 you get what you pay for.

Yeah this true but think I might try the cheap one first until I can afford track ir Cause I'm sure track ir is worth the money Just have to upgrade computer and yoke rudder first.

Hi True $200 worth Track lr 5, less effort to use , but $ 4 worth free track, you will get the same or a better performance depends how you configure.for me i just started building that just how much i can succeed making that one , i did not purchase any thing for making that all available with me $ 4 only for buying a tube of glue($4=1omr), just take an hour to make and configure that. and the performance more better than for a $ 4 .
