Just wondering if there's a timeline for changing over to KAcars....

Once we see you airborne using FSAcars, we will run the uninstall script.

(So don't trust my advice anymore..eh?) :p Just Kidding!

Nothing is cast in stone. For now, users are welcome to continue using it. We would prefer that everyone get moved over to kACARS since we will be dropping support for FSAcars eventually.

In other words if you have an issue with FSAcars and you come looking for help, we will simply say..."FS what?".

I am hoping for an update to kACARS in the near future. I have contacted the creator and asked for an exit prompt. If you fat finger the "x" while flying it instantly closes and you loose your data. I have been assured that he is looking into it.

As well, he is looking into starting to log the fuel load at brake release instead of when it connects to FS.

LOL :D

Actually, this brings up a good point for new pilots Chuck. We should get all of our new pilots working on the kAcars system so maybe we should be removing the download of the FSAcars from our utilities section? What do ya think?

Cheers!
