 Post subject: Noisy Throttle

Many moons ago, I seem to recall reading a post on this very forum where someone had repaired a Saitek throttle quadrant that had a lot of electronic noise. Can't seem to find the post now.

Wonder if anyone around here remembers that issue and, specifically, what was done to remedy it? Sick of my aircraft throttles jumping around like a grasshopper... :evil:

I have taken mine apart and cleaned the pots, been working good for over a year now,
it's a bit of a chore but works like new still. Use electrical contact cleaner,
the stuff that won't leave a residue.
