The thing that worked for me was to start SB as a standalone rather than from the FSX menu. AND as administrator of course. Never had a problem since. I use W7-64.

Thanks, I'll try loading it as a stand alone program. Now has anyone actually tried to download Squawkbox program recently? Halfway through the download procedure, my antivirus warns me that there is a TROJAN in the program . Anyone else have this problem ?
Thanks.

I just downloaded it from http://squawkbox.ca/downloads/ and no problems.
What do you use for an Anti Virus program?

I use McAfee.
Perhaps I have to re-adjust settings for the antivirus?
