Hi All,

I recently downloaded the latest edition of FSUIPC from Peter Dowson's webpage. I am using the unregistered version as probably a number of other pilots out there.

I decided to try and update this after speaking with DS about a problem I was having with the 737-800 livery of ours. It seems that the throttle decides to turn on all by itself and causes big problems for me.

At any rate - FSUIPC 3.45 was released this past week or so and I thought that might resolve the issue. Much to my disappointment it seems that Peter has discontinued support of SquawkBox 2.3 Beta because when I try to get online it complains of a program not registered with this. As well I can no longer use SB as it will not find online ATC's and I can't tune to them.

Anyone else seen this problem or have an easy resolution? I can likely go back tothe old version of FSUIPC for now (if I can find it) but will have my original problem...

Thanks!

Darryl

Start FS
Click on Modules | FSUIPC | Register an application

Enter "Squawkbox" as the name and "LWVQ 7I2V 9 GPB" as the registration.

You may need to restart FS.

LOL

I remember reading this on the Squakbox support forums somewhere....slipped my mind.

THIS is why DS is President :D :D :D

Thanks DS! I'm ready to roll again! Hopefully this fixes that little throttle problem. If not, I'll be giving you a shout for some detailed instructions how to fix the darned thing :)

Thanks!

Glad I could help, and yes: that is the only reason I am President - to cut & paste posts about Squawkbox into the CVA forum... that and to bug the crap out of Devon.
