How do you get trees to show up in FSX Acceleration? I'm running Real Environment Extreme and Samoshin NW trees. My ground detail for trees is all flat. Any ideas. I've played around with all of the settings and can't figure it out.

Turn on graphics at max and then turn off AI, clouds and anything else that's not necessary.

If you don't get better trees now, I don't know what else to say. At least you'll know if you can display them.

Hmm, I turned graphics at max, set season to automn and leaves didn't change colour. Can anyone get their leaves to change in game?

I didn't notice if the trees were flat though, seemed ok to me in FS-X sp2. Frame rate was just under minimum, no way I could fly with other planes about.

I'm seriously pushing the PC though, game crashed when I took a screen shot from ground view in flight.

Yes, I changed the date to about Sept 30 and the trees changed.

Most of my settings are up on max.(still tweaking)

Ok, I just checked the trees alongside Dorval and they are 3 dimensional flats; 2 standing images that intersect at 90deg and a 3rd horizontal image through the middle. Up close it looks like crap but it gives 3 dimensions when looking from afar.

Holy crap, graphics look nice at 1680x1050, everything maxxed and averaging 20-30 FPS; clouds, everything, only AI stuff is missing. Too bad my graphic cards can't take the strain at triple width, let alone having any extra airplane in there. Oh well, I'll take triple monitors over eye candy for now.

Ooops, I forgot to add flare and the other light effect thingy.
