(done with FS-X)
I figured the problem with the OpenGL error at start-up, my video card on the network PC is too old.
I installed vasFMC 2.0 on the main gamer to test and it started up fine. The gauges look nice, but the auto-pilot controls seem unsynchronized with the main FS-X gauges.
You have to get used to clicking off to the side of the knobs, no big deal there. There is one design flaw though, you have to leave the battery on No idea what they were thinking when they programmed that, batteries don't last forever.
One inconvenience in the stand-alone version is having to click windows to return control; you can't slap all the vasFMC gauges into one large window (that I could see).
The quality of the graphics is top notch, lettering is very clear.
