Hi folks,

New to CVA and am enjoying the site. One thing I see that is missing is contact info for executive and hub masters. Could this be added to the site?

I would like to have some hours transferred over from another VA but don't know who the Halifax hub master is to contact.

Regards,

Clear skies and safe landings!

Who is the hub master for Vancouver. I have 165 hours on another VA and 350 hours on another Virtual Community. I would like to transfer 50 hours if possible.

Also, am I able to promote a virtual community that I fly for to CVA members to come and join.

Randy.

Try sending an email to hr@canadianva.com with the particulars.

Please include a link to the site in question along with your name, pilot id and a reply email address.

I am sure it will be looked into promptly.

Also, at present, only 50 hours can be transferred.

Hi Randy,

I will take care of your hours transfer here to CVA. In regards to the "virtual community" we are exclusively linked to VATSIM at this time and have no plans to join other communities. As well...we are not in the habit of actively promoting other communities airlines to our pilots to go and join them but we do realize that some pilots choose to fly with more than one airline.

In this case - we ask that you stay active here at CVA to some degree. If not...rosters are looked at periodically and accounts may be deactivated at a later date.

Cheers!

Hi John,

We recently launched our new website. We still have plans to add a few other items to the site which will be done over time - a contacts page being one of them.

Much appreciated for your comments and welcome to our VA.

Cheers!

Sounds good Darryl. Just thought I'd ask. As long as I log my flight with ACARS I can do my CVA flights on other communities right?

Randy

Yes - as long as you are representing CVA at that time.

For example - if you flew one of our routes using FSAcars but flew it as your other airline callsign then this would be rejected. If you flew as your CVA callsign then yes as you are representing CVA.

Cheers!
