Could not bid

Shalom and greetings,

Tonight, I could not bid on PAJN to PANC flight. When I clicked on bid, it says "no route".

So I took off now for this flight without FSCARS using Vatsim with vataware record in hope CVA managenment will accept this flight's hours. Got to figure out how to fill the flight info on manual report without FSCARS.

As long as you remember how much fuel you used, and flying time, you should be able to fill out the manual Pirep just fine! Idk why you couldn't bid on the route but as long as you fill out your pirep you will get your hours

thanks Matty,

When I clicked on bid for PAJN to PANC route number 8216, the results said "No route passed".

Do not know what it means or why it happens. Never happened to me before.

Mine says BID ADDED and it is now in my list of bids.

Maybe they were doing maintenance on the database. Try again and see what happens.

That is what I thought. I will try again tonight for my participation in tonight's event flight to BIIS.

This morning at 10:19 am EST, I clicked on bid for BGSF to BIIS flight for tonight's event and I still get "No route passed" statement.

Something must have happened when CVA added new routes to the database.

Works fine here. Try logging out and then log back in. Maybe something is whacky with your logon session.

I logged out and relogged in few times. Did not work.

So I decided to clean out caches and cookies from my web browser.

And tried again. Bidding is working now!!

no route passed is all I get as well, I don't have a live map either and when I view the map of all my flights I only get a few showing up. Maybe someone in management should post an update of whats happening on the coding end just so we know what to expect?

Gary, log off, clear cache and cookies, log back on and try again.

It worked for Aharon.

clearing the cache pretty much worked, save all the flights showing up on the map of my flights. ironically I spent the whole winter following that thing

:thumbsup: Yes! looks like "my flights map" is back!
And it looks great by the way, having it larger makes a world of a difference and the new google style "pushpins" look sharp!(no pun intended)
