(hmm, too late to edit previous post)

Cal, do you use FS Panel Studio?

Anyways, found some stuff on google for the beginner:

FS Panel Studio is a "must have" for anyone who's the least bit serious about panel and gauge design. There are no free tools, and the only "competitor" to FSPS is the rather old and lame Abacus offering.

I deliberately keep this forum geared more towards C, C++ and GDI+ development, since the http://avsim.com "Aircraft and Panel" forum is aimed more towards XML gauge building and solutions. ;)

Here are a coupld of additional resources:

http://freeflightdesign.com - excellent forums, tips and tutorials aplenty to be found, friendly, knowledgable and helpful folks abound!

http://fs2x.com - excellent XML gauge tutorial site.

I just find it odd that MS even provided a panel modifying tool but doesn't permit a modder community.

I use it for placement, but the coding is done with notepad.

So regarding my original request. Does anyone know how to get the autobrakes to work and should there be a VC? :p

The Autobrakes worked on the Default 737-800, there is a VC Panel also according to the panel configuration file.

I'm in FS-X CVA 737 Views right now, Cockpit is clickable, Virtual Cockpit is not.

Maybe I have to press the brakes to disengage autobrake once stopped. I can get them to work just fine, I just can't turn them off. And I don't want to use Parking Brake 'cause I don't want to interfere with normal FSacars operation.

You got it. Once you've stopped you should just be able to click the regular brake and it will disengage. I can't figure out why my autobrakes won't work on the 737. My default 737 autobrakes work fine but I want to fly with my fancy CVA livery.

The CVA 737 uses the same panel as the Default 737 in FS X. they should work the same unless you made some changes.
