Hi Simon,

Sorry to hear you are having troubles. Which Dash 8 are we talking about...the Dash 8-200, 300 or 400?

When you run the installer, are you making sure that you browse to your Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder?

We'll figure it out, I am sure!! :)

Guess it helps if I read the subject line...I take it we are talking about the Premier Aircraft Designs 300.

I will look into it tonight when I get home form work.

And yes, I know the thumbnail is missing. It is on my to do list.

Hi there,
Im new to Canadian Virtual Airlines, and im looking to get started however I'm running into some minor troubles withthe aircraft. When I installed a plane it never appeared in my list of aircraft in the FSX and when I finally found a thumbnail of one of the CVA planes all it did was replaced my annivsery learjet image?

Hi scott! Welcome to CVA :D Im new here too but I think I might be able to help u with this plane issue ;o

Have you installed the plane into your Flight Simulator X folder? That was my problem when I tried downloading my first plane, so maybe its yours too. And which plane are you trying to install?

To echo what Matt said, check and make sure you are installing it into the correct folder when the installer asks you.
By default it should be [hard drive letter]:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Shouldn't all aircraft installed in FSX be in Sim objects aircraft folder that is were I put them unless it is an auto installer and then I just browse to the main FSX folder if it says that Usually I just copy and paste the aircraft folwer to Sim objects /airplanes and if there is no thumbnail it shows up as a grey plane but will show textures when I fly it

Yes all of our planes use an auto installer so the main FSX (or FS9) folder is what is needed to install them.
