Howdy Gents!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have now put up a couple of new textures for FSX default aircraft of our CVA Livery. Special thanks goes out to Gary for these. They are now available when you login to the CVA website under the downloads section. Scroll to the bottom of the downloads page and click on the User Edits icon and the textures will be available there.

We hope to add more aircraft and textures as time goes on and yes I know we have a number of them available. Will do my best to get them online as time permits.

Cheers!

Thanks Darryl!
I've got about 10 or 12 in total that I can upload but they are all at different levels of completion. I'm hoping to get some feedback as to what everybody would like to see and of course anything that would improve on what is released. Chuck is working on a download counter for the User Edits section which would really help "skinners" see what everybody likes to download but in the meantime Feedback! It's probably the biggest motivation on selecting what could get a CVA skin.
Also, I'm hoping that maybe a few others will upload their works to the user edits section so that we all have a wide variety of paints to choose from. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing an AEROSOFT BEAVER repaint by someone would look great in the User Edits section (as well as a few others).

EDIT: I almost forgot to thank Kris Steliga (CVA0182) for trying out both the Lear and the 737 and sending great feedback on the paints. If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have uploaded either one of them!

Gary

hi, my curent request's for CVA Paint's that i would likely use would be:
FS2004: Default B734 (Got a VC and would rather that than the CVA B738 (Unless it's repackaged with the POSKEY B738 VC Model if you could find it)) for my class 3 routes
Default Learjet 45 (to go with FSX one) to go with class 2 flights
Default C208 (Amphib Prefered for Seaplane routes) to go with Class 1 Flights
Default DC-3 ( i think a CVA DC-3 would Look Cool to go with the DC-4)

FSX (When i get it)
Same as above except for LJ45 and B738 as they have already been added and there is no B734 Default in FSX, it's the B738 instead.
Default A321 (Would possibly use instead of B738 or would interchange between the 2 depending on mood/route), do the Default FSX A321 come with GPWS that says "Retard"?
CRJ-700 (For Larger Class 2 Routes)
DHC-2 Beaver Floatplane (For Same reason as C208 above)
Both:
No Airbus for Class 4 for Airbus fans (i don't care if it's Boeing or Airbus, just pointing it out), Airbus A330 Should cover that problem

No not that i have heard. However search out Project Airbus for FSX and you should run into a pack of Airbuses FSX native with VC that has that function including the suicide pilot Cat3 function lol. Ya you can tell I'm a Boeing Driver  Look out Scarebus I'm hungry  the IFDG model is too old and needs a tombstone.

Ah what the heck I'll save ya the time of searching
AVSIM search name in FSX Francois Dore, Project Airbus.
This man did the A318, A319, A320
They are all FSX native and healthy with VC and bells for Freeware and the only freeware I'd go with Airbus wise

Airbus fans stay tuned to Aerosoft. They're just about ready to release an advanced Bus that's supposed to work just like the real one. If it's all they say it will be I just might have to start flying Airbus' again - some. I won't abandon Boeings though.

Is this the extended version? I hope so, my current Aerosoft Airbus needs a make over in navigation MCDU.

Yes the extended. The first one was a disappointment.

No problem Gary. I know Chuck has been really busy so trying to help out where I can. Whenever you have them ready just drop me an email and we'll figure out how to get them to me and then up on the website.

Cheers!

Hello everyone,

Just a quick message to inform you that I am working on CVA paints for the Project Airbus a319 and a320, as mentioned by Tim, they are excellent freeware packages. At this stage I don't know when they'll be finished, but hopefully soon!

Ryan

I'll park a PA at YZF waiting for CVA colors.
