I've still got some work to do on it but here's a slideshow of what I've got done on The FSX default "de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver floatplane" I wanted to get some repaints of *freeware* planes if you will because not everybody wants to buy payware all the time Consider this the ugly duckling twin brother of Cal's terrific Aerosoft Beaver repaint. Anyways I'm off to the "Maule" hope you enjoy! Gary Photobucket slideshow of the FSX Beaver

I haven't looked at the CRJ textures in FSX yet, I know some don't come with the "white" (blank) texture which makes them really hard to paint. I'm working on a couple of more of the smaller aircraft right now (actually started working on all 3 at once). Somehow it made it easier to step through each obstacle in each texture and then the Beaver won out when I started getting the hang of it to bad it's only floats though considering CVA doesn't have any water routes If I get through these two I'll give the CRJ a whirl, but no holding your breath! I can't guarantee it will look anything like this by the time I finished though. Gary

Resolute, is that the place that has mountains in the background and water up front?
I putzed around up there with the 767, practicing smaller airports, and I remember one that could be a nightmare in low visibility conditions (or with technical difficulties).
I don't know the details of the 737 crash, but if it was that place and they were in trouble, they must have had their hands full on approach.

Although today im relaxing, as First Air had a major crash of one of there 737-200's She was below the published RNAV mins for this approach to Resolute. Hey Tim I didn't pick up the Carenado B58 cuz I was always pleased enough with the default fsx version (hardly flew it in Century of Flight) The Dynamic? what do you think of it? Real world, she's great on fuel, versatile, and a big hit. In the sim, I find her a joy to fly. Have you tried the Skylark? I'd love to give that a whirl! (uh oh I feel my credit card slipping out of my wallet..... *yet again*) Gary

I just bought the caranodo one because I like the B58, like my 737's and Twotters.

CAF440 wrote: Gary have you done any CVA paints on the dynamic? Im checking my e-mail storage area and didn't see any. Was going to take her fr spin out of my covert CFB near Sach's. Well I did but it's just a private pilot thing, not an official CVA repaint or anything. But a hell of a beauty to get in touch with yourself I think

The one on the trailing edge of the decals is the 14th greenwood in honour of Kris. If you really want the repaint just say the word and I will email it to you. Gary
