I still don't see the LDS763 Winglet Textures on the CVA website.
It's been over 5 weeks since the last communication I received, and I have no idea what's going on?
Having these files sitting in limbo for months when they could be put to use. I'm tired of waiting for an answer.
So I am releasing them on my own. You can download them thru the link at the bottom.

The Winglet Textures requires the Level D 767 for FSX with the new winglet update that is free on their website.
The ERJ145 Textures requires the Wilco-Feelthere ERJ145 for FSX
The iFDG MD-11 requires that you put it in the "simobjects/aircraft/" folder and that's it.
These are not official CVA releases, and are not supported by CVA.
any questions please PM or e-mail me.

IFDG CVA MD-11 Version 2 The panel has been completely redone, many changes, and new gauges, sounds, now has a Climb/Descent arc, uses FSX flight plans, engines burn approx 15000 lbs per hour, not quite PMDG, but the price is right.

Three versions, PW engines, GE engines and Cargo GE Engines, and they will fly to the farthest reaches of the CVA empire. and they all have a fuel dump for when you are flying to the farthest reaches and have to return with too much fuel on board to land safely.
Image

IFDG CVA MD-11 Version 2 There is a extensive PDF help file included.
Image

IFDG CVA MD-11 Version 2 also comes with a cargo version and a switch to open the cargo door.
Image

There is switches for Gate, passenger door and cargo doors.
Image

Overhead panel, cockpit and cabin heat control, APU Start or Battery Start, (ground power coming soon). Landing gear, Brakes and flight controls are controlled by the hydraulic system, brakes are reduced on wet and snowy surfaces if the anti-skid isn't turned on, if your into the FS Failures the fire warning and and suppression is functional, along with the outside fire effects. the TOGA and Rejected T/O has been working flawlessly.

Radio and throttle panels

Cargo door opens and the carts show up

As I'm still working on getting the interaction with the ground and flight attendants, EICAS Fuel, Electrical, and Hydraulics finished and those &^%$#@ "Dial-a-Flap" working, check back here for updates. :)
and if you have any comments or suggestions for the MD-11 send them in and I'll try and get them into an update if possible.

NEXT UPDATE VERSION WILL BE CVA MD-11 V2.01

Thanks, and enjoy,
Cal Jordan (CVA371)

Far far far out!

I haven't heard anything from Chuck for a few months. Must be on sabbatical. Maybe he does have a life. I know - I know - how is that possible since he lives near ---London--- ughhh!

Hey Cal,

Sorry about this. I know that Chuck had been pretty busy with work and life in general when I last spoke with him and likely why he has not responded to date. I sent him a quick email offline as well yesterday.

The textures look good to me and unless there is a technical reason (not working / problems with installers, etc) holding us back I'll give the official "Okey Dokey" on these for use.

Chuck has been managing the website for the past year or more now and I have been hands off due to my busy life schedule as well. Hopefully we can get these online in the near future.

Cheers!

Okay no problems, I just hope every thing is good with him and his family :)
It's just he doesn't normally, not come around once and a while.

Question, is the MD-11 V2 Good for FS9 or is it FSX only?

Sorry I should have mentioned For FSX, but you could try it using the FS9 textures for the airframe. but the fire bottles and engine fire effects wont be seen.
all the gauges are mine so they have there own variables, the jetway switch wont work, but I think most others will.

Just copy the MD11 V2 into your aircraft folder, then copy the textures folder from your FS9 version and paste in into the MD11 V2 should work, :P Let me know.

I have used it with the freeware FMSs and worked good

FS9 Test Result's so far:
the 2 GE Engine Textures don't show up, only the PW Engine Textures show up and load fine
Edit: Got the Panel somewhat figured out
V/S Hold don't reset when Target Altitude is reached, got to put it back to 0 manual
HDG Hold don't work, you have to turn it off to turn the plane manually
Hydraulic System and Electrical Screen Displays "Comeing Soon"
There is a GPWS Switch where the Gear Leaver is at above the Gear Warning, it's stuck in the Off Position
the "X" to close overhead and Throttle Screen don't work

Probably a couple more things but i'm not going to bother, with a couple of fixes it would be a really cool plane to fly, i never bothered to try to land it Though.

Huh, what?? Somebody talking about me?

I'm still alive, this is the first time I have even turned my computer on this week. Sorry for my rude absence. Looking good Cal!!

About the 767 winglet, is there a registration and tail number on that aircraft or do I need me bifocals? If you are happy with the way it is packaged without regs, I will do my darnedest to have it uploaded and linked ASAP.

Can't you see them? It's on the data plate....... :P I tried putting them on but they didn't show up so well with that paint, no matter what color I used. I'll figure something out and get back to you.

Cal, I've been trying to save your a/c without all the FMC data and settings but cannot manage it. No matter what I do, everytime I load your winglet a/c now, I get an FMC loaded with settings for a long cross the pond flight. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Of course, I've loaded other a/c with engines off, saved the start file, loaded your 763 winglet, deleted all the FMC data, and save it etc. But when I switch from another a/c to yours, all the FMC data is back again, including the 4000' transition alt etc for Europe.

I didn't have this problem when I first started using it. Very strange.

I don't know why paint would cause that to happen, that is strange, is there some setting in the LDS FS menu for saving the cockpit?

You know what's funny, there have been many times I've wanted to save the FMC settings rather than enter all the waypoints in every time I start up, say, with a test flight. And I couldn't do it.

Now I can't get rid of it.

You can save the FMC data as a flight plan, does FSX have a flight plan loaded by a saved flight?

Thanks for the heads up, Cal, but I think those FMC problems had to do with having the waypoints disappear when the engines were started during pushback.
