Is anyone else getting a pic of an unknown aircraft when selecting the plane in-game?

Yup, hence the title of the thread.

Chuck, I just installed the rest of the CVA fleet for FS-X and the Airbus A319-133 is also a mystery plane on the selection panel.

The thumbnail is there. It's just that it is a bitmap not a JPG. Open "thumbnail.bmp" (in the texture.CVA directory) in paint and click File->Save as and then in "Save as type" choose JPG . File needs to be named "thumbnail.jpg". You'll then get the airplane to appear properly in the aircraft selection window.

My problem with this aircraft is that when you go to the "spot" view and the props are spinning, it seems as if the prop texture is missing so, they look black

Thanks V, that fixed it for the Dash, but there is no thumbnail file at all for the 319.

I think with the Dash8-300, theres no texture for the propellers like you said, b/c I've looked hard and unless they are spinning at super sonic speed I cannot see them :p
Also the dash6 I think? Its the one with 4 engines, its propellor textures are weird, like you can see the circle or sumthing, hard to explain.

Yeah, unfortunately in that case, someone must have forgotten to create one. You can always create your own by taking a screenshot of the plane. I forget the hotkey in FSX. I think it might be V. It should then create a screenshot in the "Pictures" -> "Flight Simulator X" Folder. Make sure it is named thumbnail and that it is a jpg and just put in the A319 folder. That should fix it.
