Hi I just joined CVA because it is Canadian , and my former VA Air Canadian CEO just pulled the plug and it doesn't exist anymore, and you use FSAcars which is a great flight logging tool . Now my question is I don't see many aircraft for FSX Since I am starting at the bottom again(was Master Apt Captain) I have some of your craft for FSX but as I progress up the ladder can I use the similar aircraft I already have to fly the routes since there are no downloads with Canadian Colors yet for FSX< are there any textures alone for FSX craft?? :)

Welcome to CVA.

For information read the FAQ here http://www.canadianva.com/info/cva%20faq.pdf
You are allowed to transfer up to 50 hours from another VA provided that you can show where this can be validated. As for planes in FSX we ourselves have been restructuring in the past year and in the past 3 months Chuck our plane guru has done an outstanding job providing a much needed upgrade to the fleet. Should you have any suggestion or want to assist, contact CVA3906 (Chuck Dickey)

Welcome to Canadian Virtual! We are still in a state of change with the fleet. Quite a few aircraft have had their livery design changed and some have been added for both FS9 and FSX. As far as default aircraft go, you will find that we tend to stay away from them as much as possible. Microsoft usually does a horrible job at mapping textures which makes for extreme nightmares to paint them anywhere decent.

If you have any requests or believe that our fleet could benefit from a certain aircraft, by all means bring it to our attention.

Thanks for the information I printed off the inormation about flights etc. I am not a painter but I have some good planes from my Air Canadian Hanger which at present is not available since they wiped the 27,000 + files from the server :alien: I will wait for your crew in anticipation of some FSX craft.

Welcome aboard!

No worries...

Send me a private email to:

darryl.brambilla@gmail.com

I'll get your hours straightened out for you. As well, send me all of your info for FSAcars and I will get you setup for logging.

As well, if you are chatting with any other former Air Canadian pilots looking for a home then please let them know our door is open :D

Cheers!
