Cva tail logo repaints

Hi All,

It has been suggested that we come up with some new and exciting ways to change the VA around and one of them was to reinvigorate the fleet. We are in the process of trying to update aircraft with repaints for FSX, however it was also thought a good idea to change the tail logo.

So...with that being said, I think it's important for all to take a vote on what they would like to see. The majority will decide the outcome so get your vote in ASAP! We'll post this poll for the next 2 weeks (or until the majority of active members have spoken or a clear majority rules).

NOTE: You can only vote 1 time so make the appropriate choice!!! Do not try to view the results first as it will nullify your vote and you will not get another chance to vote!

Was wondering if I could make a suggestion Darryl, how about the original tail logo, with a new paint scheme for the rest of the plane, a little mix of old and new. Just a thought.

Just as a sidenote to the above comment I made, I would be very happy with the original back in it's whole form as well.

Just a point of clarification for some who might be confused here....

The original tail logo is the same as the one shown at the top of this forum page (CVA across the tail with the colors).

The newer design had the maple leaf on it which is also displayed on the side of the aircraft. This poll is strictly about the change for the tail logo.

Howdy Gents!

Well, it looks like the majority has spoken here. Out of 21 or so active pilots we have around today, 15 have voted and it looks like 12 of those 15 are all in favor of the Retro CVA tail.

I'll leave this poll for a few more days but it looks to me like we have a clear winner.

I was looking around today and uncovered a cd I had made quite sometime ago. I put it in to see what was there and low and behold...looky at what I found!! :p

This is an old FS2002 model, but I was able to get it loaded ok into FS9. I am quite sure it would not load in FSX though. I am only putting these pics here so others that have not seen this livery can get a better look.

Well, with most of the active pilots now responding to the poll it appears to me that we have a clear winner in regards to the tail logo poll.

So....you have spoken! We will be going back to the Retro CVA Tail Logo. I will be speaking with one of our members who has been working on this in the background.

Look for fleet updates in the future and we'll be posting further information as it becomes available.

I like tail logo as today because it is hip and innovation.

Going back to original logo would be like turning the clock backward.

Remember new pilots, when looking for new VA to join, always looks for cool and eye catching textures.

It is your present gorgeous texture on 747-400 and 757-200F that caught my eyes on avsim website.

What you need now is Olympic 2010 design on bodies of all planes.
