Okay, I'm on my way. Joined a little late as I was trying to get through all the Cargo routes before Shane put up his changes.

Well, following Keith's flight plan and now have Leg 26 in the can, sitting on the ramp at Helsinki-Malmi going over those Cyrillic charts before venturing into Mother Russia - oooooof! I thought reading the Canadian ones was tough - this is going to be very interesting. Luckily I was able to find charts for every airport save one on Keith's master flight plan. Should be an interesting trip down to Yerevan from here! Let you know how it goes, if I don't get lost or read a chart backwards - wait a minute - aren't you supposed to do that over here?

Presently on my way to General Santos (RPMR) in the Phillipines, great flight so far, some lousy weather and aircraft is flying well still...

Hope to be home soon.
Cheers Rod

Landed in Yerevan this afternoon, things progressing well. Even had some ATC through the region. Can only get ATC for Montreal or Toronto half the time I'm flying there, but my first hop into Armenia of all places I get ATC! Not complaining, the service was great, English was better than mine (like that's a struggle), even gave me a few pointers on places to look for charts (mostly in Russian though). Looks like an interesting place to hold a multi sometime with a little planning and liaison in advance. DS, what do you think, you're the Euro-trash guru, or is this Asia to you?

Home sweet home. 106 days and 116 hours later.
Just landed in CYXY tonight June 10th (started the tour in CYXY).

Thanks for an excellent charter Keith. Some very interesting approaches, departures and weather. :)

Now...., where did I park my Harley....?

Hey thanks! Love to hear that my efforts were successful!

Took me some 120 hour as well. There's some really neat stops along the way, if you flew the same legs that I posted. Areas that I've always wanted to visit, like Takhli Thailand. Read a great book about an F105 squadron based there during Vietnam (Thud Ridge).

Glad you guys had fun.
