Thanks Frank. At least it was working. I wasn't sure and have had problems with Comm2 voice before. I'll try to get on there tonight. I was flying the Fairchild and I'm not sure what the Comm2 set up is on it. Can't seem to get into the panel.cfg file on that one.

Lucky you Barry, I've been trying for literally years to get FSInn working and have had zero luck. Last Saturday I tried again but every time I exit FSX now it crashes and still no connection with FSInn! I have Teamspeak and it works fine but CVA doesn't I guess I'll just have to fly the routes in silence yet again.

I know you've been trying for a long time Gary. FSINN is a hit or miss for many, and for some, just a no-go, it won't work. Wish I knew the answer.

One would think, for as long as VATSIM has been around, that by now there would be some updated software for it. Last I checked they didn't seem to be doing anything.

I've been flying an air-race through the Caribean with my European friends and we are using a server running through the Multiplayer - same as the old Gamespy but a direct server connection. And we use Teamspeak for voice. Works just fine.

Sometimes I wonder if CVA couldn't just move to something like that, but of course you lose the ATC. I personally don't care if we have ATC or not, but some do. Maybe use both - like the multiplayer for VFR stuff where you generally don't get ATC anyway. I'm just thinking that if it would get more of us on-line, then better.

Just my thoughts. It's very easy to set up.

Well I've been at it ever since, and I've eliminated the FSX crash on exit but still no luck getting anything set up properly. the control panel appears to say I'm connected to VATSIM (vatsim is green) but servinfo doesn't show me so I'm not sure if I'm connected or not. and when I open the settings via the double traffic light icon in the system tray it doesn't allow me to alter the company channel settings at all so I'm not sure what's happening. I'll keep plugging away at it until I get dizzier before I un-install it again and refuse to talk to it for another couple of months
