That was a good one, and now that I have FSINN working I'll be there. :D

A great multi flight last night in New Zealand! I counted me, Eugene, Cal, Frank, and JC. Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Weather was fine on my machine (Active Sky Next) with some clouds but very little wind so it made for nice smooth flying. We had different sceneries installed, but it didn't deter from the good time had by all.

I have Orbx New Zealand and here are some shots:

NZ Mainland to Stewart

Field in site - ahead left

Eugene decides the Dash 8 is too big for the field

Edit - the Queenstown Approach shot is mixed up - that was another flight into RW 5 . I'll try to find the right one into RW 23 tomorrow.

Good morning,

I do not know if my eyes become to become bad, but I could not find in FSX the destination NZRC. With a R at the 3rd position, I found NZRA, NZRT, NZRV, NZRO but no NZRC ?

Good morning,

Please could you cancel my flight CVA 148 of march 9,2014.
I did not do this flight but the CVA 150 flight of the same day.
But I forgot to cancel my flight bid 148 from NZQN to NZRC and when I did CVA flight 150 NZMF to NZCH Pirep was recorded under
NZQN to NZRC. So I made a manual record for CVA flight 150.
Flight 048 have to be cancelled.
Best Regards
JC

Hi JC. Were you ever able to find NZRC Ryans Creek? I have the ORBX scenery and I know it is there with that. When I searched it in the FSX directory all I found were Orbx entries and what looked like a fixing file in scenery/world scenery. So it may be exclusive to ORBX. But I didn't think Frank was in Orbx so I'm not sure if it is a native FSX airport or not. Also, for me, I have a dirt strip named NZFG Fern Gully that is directly in front of RW 22-or almost. I'm pretty sure that is an orbx field though.

Barry

Hi Barry,

No I cannot find either NZRC nor NZFG in the FSX directory. I have not the ORBX scenery so I think it is the reason.
As you know english is not my mother language. What does " dirt strip " stand for when relating to an airport? Is that an airport very small with a little runway in the field ?

JC

Yes, very small airport. Runway is grass or soil. We call them dirt strips or grass strips sometimes.

I haven't got an "NZRC" in my FSX install either. (And no Orbx scenery for New Zealand)
