If you have not noticed the multi is present. We will complete the route across the Atlantic.

Good morning.

Made it all the way to Keflavik BIKF.

Now to plan the next leg to ENGM Oslo Gardemoen.

Anyone flying over the Atlantic online in VATSIM network, I suggest reading the material on http://www.vatsim-uk.co.uk/oceanic-procedures/ VATSIM UK oceanic procedures.Very interesting reading and you might as well be prepared and not to be surprised when the Iceland Radio FSS contacts you during your flight.

For the next weekend I hope that the legs continue all the way to EFHK Helsinki Finland. Vatsim Scandinavia is hosting a 1700Z-2200Z http://vatsim-scandinavia.org/?p=1555 event in Finland with full ATC coverage in EFHK and EFOU.

Good morning.

The second leg from BIKF Keflavik to ENGM Gardemoen, Oslo, Norway.

After leaving the Iceland coast just before sunrise.

On arrival route.

On final to 19R.

After taking the first picture my FSX went into a 'FSX does not respond situation' for a couple of minutes. It recovered and I did not crash into the Atlantic. However I lost my connection to CVacars and had to fill in a manual pirep. I was flying in VATSIM and Cal (CVA0009) was on the same route 1,5 h in front. Had a talk with him on the CVA private channel 122.85.

It was a good flight but dark, I'll have to try it during the day. Jaakko Koponen was also on the same flight but a bit behind me.
We had a good chat on the company frequency.

The first flight was uneventful until I started the descent into Keflavik, then the turbulence started,
it was so bad at times the autopilot wouldn't stay on. Then things got really dark and the lightening started.
I think I flew into a thunder cloud, DX10 preview really impresses me. although it might be the "DX10 Scenery Fixer" that has done it.

Good evening to all,

Very nice screenshots from both of you.
Cal I like the one with the lightening, very impressive.

Best Regards
