The prefect flight for me - in Orbx scenery the whole way, in an aircraft of the right class - and I have company staying in my computer room. I'll try it out on Wednesday!

There was a pilot that wouldn't talk to ATC and flew into the mix with out clearance, made it a bit interesting.

Thank you to JC, Robert, Cal for showing up. Great flight.... Vancouver ATC was awesome. I liked the part when ATC asked Cal to hurry up he will squeeze him in before another arrival only to route him through a scenic tour of Vancouver. Here are some screenshots of my perspective.

Some pictures of the Multi of yesterday.

Cal, I do not know if the pilot you are talking about is me, but I was with Vancouver ATC until airborne, then they said to me to go direct YYC what I did, then they did not contact me anymore so 80 nm from CYYC I switched on Unicom and gave position, expected rwy 16 and final approach as well cleared runway 16.
Now I fly on Vatsim since only 3 months and maybe I did something wrong.
I am here to learn and your advice could be " a bit interesting".

JC, there were 2 other pilots at Calgary with you guys. You didn't announce your landing intentions on UNICOM, the ACA guy wasn't happy. I think you texted in the wrong box 'cause I saw nothing on UNICOM.

It was an Air Filipino guy that was bugging Vancouver ATC.

Thanks for your analysis. I was unfortunately but surely on the wrong frequency and nobody could receive my message of position and landing intentions. I had a word with Frank telling him that I had no news from Vancouver ATC since a long time and that I had the intention to switch on Unicom as I was 90 nm from Calgary. I surely put a wrong frequency, I cannot really remember.

But your analysis will serve me to be more careful the next time.

I don't change my radios for UNICOM.
