Great choice! Aharon. The busy skies of California will keep us on our toes. To add to this event I will award a fuel miser award to the pilot that uses fuel, closest to Trip Fuel, established on the load sheet at
http://www.fuelplanner.com.
So here is what you do. Before your flight you will need to know the equipment you will be using for the trip. i.e. "Boeing 737-800" then enter the start and end points KSAN, KSFO. Pull up your load sheet and get the data needed to load your takeoff fuel and any other info you need for your flight plan. Fly the trip and ACARS will record your trip fuel. The winner will be announced next week. Closest to Trip Fuel on the load sheet wins.
Good Luck
Oh lets hope you do not get put in a hold pattern, for sure you will loose. ( I would watch traffic and keep your spacing
Not new rules, they where explained before the event in this post.
