OK here is what will happen.
For the month of January we will award 2 members weekly for the best screenshot from events only. The winners will be chosen one from each of the two groups.
Group
1. Basic FSX Scenery with add add-on freeware accepted.
2. FTX, GEX, REX and what ever X else you got.
As for a third group with FS9 please let me know I would love to accommodate this.

We will create a sub forum to submit one and only one photo of your liking, other photos if you wish can be posted in the Departure and Arrival forum of that week. Then after the week past and we proceed to the next multi photo contest I will create a 2 Poll question (1 for each category) to allow members to vote on the winner.

Wining photos will become the property of CVA and all unauthorized use of said documents will be subject to persecution in a public forum, and may be solely used by CVA in its future. bla bla bla

3rd group for FS9 would be nice as some people (Me) is still using FS2004 over FSX due to enhanced Performance while all settings are maxed, but if not i don't mind bringing out FSX.

This is NOT what Darryl's final ruling is.

Darryl said in his own words posted on CVA forums "You will have 2 screenshot competitions moving forward. - One for "non-modified / standard screenshots", and another for people that have the time, talent, and money to invest in a program such as photoshop (or use some freeware like GIMP)."

In other words, Darryl's final ruling is that there will be two monthly screenshot contests every month: one is no editing allowed and one is editing allowed.

Please clarify with Darryl before the contest starts on January 5th.

Please do not take all information literally. Look at the context of what is being said. It is clear that Darryl did say there would be two classes of Screenshots. This is what I created. I do not want edited shots via Paint, Photoshop and any other software. I believe that you maybe the only entry in this category because from what I have seen from the members you are the only person doing so.
A screenshot is what it is and not a painting competition. Thank you for your thoughts and I will contact Darryl via e-mail.

Okay I thought Darryl said non edited and edited shots.

Then it is non edited contest with exception of cropping off window bars and erasing off FSX default red or green text warnings..

Is sharpening allowed?
