Hi all, I fly this weekly multi little late ,flown from cywg-cyyz using fellthere airbus A 330-200 recently painted to CVA colour( not official), Weather in Winnipeg was good, good tail wind varies between 30-50kts, but the weather in Toronto is not favorable visibility very low and gusting uptp 17-18 kts but a good landing compare that weather. Here some snaps of my repaint. at gate winniepeg. climbing to cruise alt at fl 370 Regards. Sudeer.

Yup, weather at Winni was nice, but I couldn't see squat on the left downwind for 33R at Toronto. I shut off autopilot and kept getting disoriented while trying to execute the turn to final. Frank and Bill must have had a good chuckle at the lousy alignment. Not one of my best approaches, but I did manage to touch down at -188 or something.

i'll try to Make it out for Wednesday, would be nice if i could use a 737 for YYC to YYZ and would be even nicer for me if it was YYC to YKF but i guess i'll get the 777 for this.

I would not be surprised because approach to runway 33R offers gorgeous view of entire city landscape of Toronto. When I was flying past famous landmarks of Toronto, I was too busy admiring the view that I almost missed the right turn to runway 33R. Regards, Aharon

Frank, I'm not complaining, but just wondering why my 2nd attempt was disqualified. You have stated AP in the comments but I disengaged at 2972 ft, or was it because I flew twice? The second time I flew was the correct route, after I found that Aharon had messed up the airport codes.
I think we should submit only one for the competition, but if you fly both routes (there and back), who chooses which to enter?
I wish everyone here at CVA a merry Christmas and a happy New Year, as I will be on holiday from tomorrow until Christmas.

Do I take it that Ryan is the final winner for Nov 24 event's softest landing contest?
Aharon Yes Ryan is the official winner. I have posted his badge, I must mention that Ryan has two awards but the web site only displays one. I am working with Darryl and Chuck to get this fixed.

Shalom Ryan, Here is your official softest landing signature banner award as seen below. I assume you know how to get the IMG code from the signature banner below to be pasted into your forum profile's signature section? If not, pls let me know and I will explain to you how. Regards, Aharon
