Shalom and greetings all my pals,
I hope all of you did not get frostbite during last weekend's event doing emergency airlifts to CYLT Alert airport!!!
If all of you think that last week's event is NOT tough enough for you, wait until you see this MUCH TOUGHER event for this Saturday night on Oct 27th and this Wednesday night on Oct the 31st at 00:30z or 08:30 pm EST (pls check your local time zone)!!!
Allow me to present..........
CVA'S MOST DANGEROUS AIRPORT APPROACH AND LANDING
Paro international airport is unquestionably the world's most dangerous airport where you have to fly and navigate through incredible high 18,000 ft mountains to get to the airport runway to land. ONLY 25 PILOTS IN THE WORLD are certified to fly into that airport!!!! This include 24 men and one woman!!!
PARO airport where A319 has to navigate sideways through mountains to avoid hitting them.
You are to fly class three aircraft round trip from VIDP Indira Gandhi International Airport located 10 miles southwest of city centre of New Delhi to VQPR Paro international airport located 4 miles from Paro in a deep valley on the bank of the river Paro Chhu at an elevation of 7,300 ft and back from Paro to New Delhi. If you do not see such flights in CVA database, please do not worry, go ahead to fly on vatsim, and save the vataware proof for future manual PREIP filing until Frank set up the two flights in CVA database.
PARO AIRPORT
For the flight from New Delhi to Paro, please use this waypoint: PUMOT W37 HW L626 KTM G348 BBD DCT TAKTI DCT PRO DCT PR
For the return trip from Paro back to New Delhi, please use this waypoint: PRO G348 TUMLI B345 KIMTI G348 KTM L626 SSB
This is what you see when you fly round trip between two airports: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEnaiDD4ztQ
Here are videos of approaches to Paro:

Thank you and have fun!!!! Do not crash into mountains or break landing gears or burst tires from hard landings!!
Regards,
Aharon

My apologies for forgetting to mention about Paro scenery. Unfortunately, there is no great freeware scenery for FSX use for Paro but there is great freeware Paro scenery for 2004 on avsim or flightsim website. People have claimed that this 2004 scenery works well on FSX but when I tried using FS2004 scenery on my FSX and started FSX, I found my A319 plane on ROOF OF THE AIRPORT TOWER!!!
Aharon Hi, Aharon the link for the freeware fsx paro scenery mentioned in my previous post regards sudeer

Nice landscape. A few minutes after this pic, I'm approaching Himalayas (I guess, never been here before).

ooops, and take 2 didn't go much better than take 1. This is going to take a LOT of 767s to get right, if ever.

Takti and PR are actually in Bhutan. Lord Letto is doing fine with Takti and PR. Robert and Cal, It must be something wrong with your Flightsim Commander 8.6. Vataware and vatsim read TAKTI AND PR as locations in Bhutan. Thousands of vatsim pilots have no problem with TAKTI AND PR. Check Lord Letto's fine example of vatsim flight using TAKTI AND PR as part of route: http://vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=10605115Aharon
