Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Hope all of you had great time doing business commuting flights between CYWG Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and CYEG Edmonton International Airport last weekend!!!

Now allow me to present this weekend's event called....

THE FUNDY BAY CASINO EXPRESS EVENT

CVA is running extremely profitable casino shuttle service between Boston and Halifax where Boston residents like to book flights on CVA to fly across Bay of Fundy from Boston to Halifax where they try their luck to strike rich in Halifax's casino hotels.

Because of summer season, the passenger demand for this casino express shuttle service is extremely heavy at increasing booking rate, and CVA needs more more of all of you CVA pilots to fly class two round trip flights this Saturday August 11, 2012 and this Wednesday August 15, 2012 at 00:30 zulu (8:30 pm EST or check your local time zone, please) from KBOS General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport located in the East Boston neighborhood of Boston to CYHZ Halifax/Robert L. Stanfield International Airport located in Enfield in Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia, Canada.

For this casino express shuttle service, please use specific class two flights as seen below:

2223(KBOS - CYHZ)
Equipment: Class 2 Distance: 412.89mi
Days Flown: Su M T W Th F S
Route: FRILL TUSKY J575 HIDIG MAHNE5

2222(CYHZ - KBOS)
Equipment: Class 2 Distance: 412.89mi
Days Flown: Su M T W Th F S
Route: J575 SCUPP SCUPP2

If any of you want to fly in this event WITHOUT services from Vatsim controllers, please fly this Saturday night. If any of you want to participate in this event under complete coverage of Vatsim controllers, please fly this Wednesday night as airport controller ATC services are 100 percent guaranteed by KBOS and CYHZ controllers only for this Wednesday night during entire route between the two airports.

The aircraft requirement for this event is class 2 but if Frank is not too busy, I would gratefully appreciate addition of such round trip flight using class 4 to CVA schedule database. So for anyone who wants to fly class 4 instead of class 2 in this event, please wait for Frank's final decision.

There is great FREEWARE BUT PAYWARE QUALITY KBOS airport scenery by FlyTampa on avsim. There are two files you need to download for KBOS scenery. One for regular scenery and second one for fix. Although the freeware KBOS scenery by FlyTampa is for FS2004, it works well for FSX as in my case.

Thank to all of you for reading and have fun crossing Bay of Fundy!!! You may be able to spot whales in that bay during the flight!!!

Regards,

Aharon

Even though the route for this event is class two, is the 737 ok to fly?

Also, I have been wondering this for a while, if there are no controllers for the airport you are at, do you transmit on the tower frequency to let others know what you are doing? Or am i doing it completely wrong?

Ryan

When you are on Vatsim and if you are on airport without airport controllers or flying in airspace without airport controllers, use unicom frequency at 122.80 to report your location and your movement so that other pilots will be aware of your plane.

Aharon

On multies the aircraft type is allways "recomended". You have the choice to change the aircraft type. Use some logic because flying a 747 into a small field maybe hazardous to your health.
