For those of you unable to transmit or listen properly on FSInn, I'm no guru with it but I did get some help from Dale during the Hawaian multi and one thing you might be forgetting is to enable Roger Wilco on your FSFDT (the little thing that looks kind of like a traffic signal in your task bar). When connected to VATSIM all 6 diamonds should be green). |

Not really, I don't have Teamspeak enabled and it works fine. And those are supposed to be traffic lights (red, yellow, green).

Yep , I got them all green! Check ! Still, I can't hear ATC or transmit. It's odd though,,, when I tune in a Atis frequency I hear that perfectly. |

I think I've got it now. I had to type rw.liveatc.net/cva into the address bar for the radios. As well, if you don't have two green bars beside the Comm 1 frequency, you won't be able to hear or talk to ATC even with six green traffic lights. After I dialed my Comm 2 radio to 122.850 and typed the url into the address bar of the radio display, I appeared in the voice server list in servinfo. |

You might be hearing FS-X ATIS, not VATSIM ATIS? Do you get a custom ATC message in the FSinn ATC box when you dial on ATC frequency? Something like:

Marty and I were messing around at Calgary last night and we finally got him to transmit on the private channel. The only problem is...he is not receiving anything now. I was on a little earlier and was able to get a radio check from ATC with no problem. As well, I was able to see myself in ServInfo voice servers in the CVA room so "I think" I have private voice working. |

This is an old post but we dug it up during the multi because we needed the settings for private voice. Could we have this, or something like it, stickied up in the Departures and Arrivals forum? |
