Re: VUSN 5th Anniversary Celebration Fly-In

vADM Don Woolem, vCNO of the Virtual United States Navy, on behalf of its founder, vADM Todd Cox, and all VUSN members would like to invite your organization to our 5th Birthday Celebration.

Jump in any military aircraft and fly to or from NAS Pensacola, KNPA, the Cradle of Naval Aviation. This fly-in will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005 from 1300 - 1800 CST (1900 - 0000z). Many of the surrounding VATSIM ARTCC's will be staffed including military controllers at selected fields.

There will be custom scenery of an aircraft carrier provided along with CATCC (Carrier ATC). Although you will need ArrestorCables to trap on the deck, those without this program are encouraged to fly the pattern and try touch and goes on the boat.

Information on VUSN can be found at www.vusn.org. Questions may be directed to vusnvcno@vusn.org. If you are able to display a banner on your web site, please used the one attached. Feel free to distribute this invitation throughout the FS community.

Civilian aircraft are welcome too but military flights are encouraged for variety.

Hope to see you there.

Downloads for the VUSN Fly-in are available at VUSN 5th Anniversary Fly-In.

Carrier scenery is available. We might even have freeware trapping software before then. It's the next best thing to landing your 747 at Revelstoke!

Hope to see you all Saturday.
