It is something we probably all do, setup for our flight, set the plane up, position, time, weather, panel state then saved that into our flight #xxxx in case we want to fly it again. I was thinking that it would be a "nice to have" thing if we could download a pre-saved flight file which you just put in your fsx folder and load it. Just something that would speed things up... I agree, but things get complicated with add-on aircraft (Level-D 767 has a separate file to export/import). |

We could start with the non-add-on ones first and then deal with the others afterward. or we create a directory associated with each flight where each member can upload their saved flight files via CVAcars or a simple upload. Then you are free to download the one that fits your need. |

There's also the issue that not everyone uses fsx, some use fs9 and xplane. Here's what I do: - start cvacars, servinfo - freeflight Fsx starts at Montreal with lds767 - i import lds file (cold & dark) - i load desired airport in fsx if required - i prep plane, fsinn - i load flight plan into fmc if i've already flown it, or enter and sav - pushback, startup, etc I like several others rarely use default aircraft. Good luck! |

Here's what I do: - I start up ServInfo to see where Canadian ATC is on - I decide where I'm going to fly - I go onto twitter and the web and decide flying is something I don't have time for |

Thought of something else, what about adding ranking 1-5, difficulty level, being able to sort by departure and arrival time (day/night). On the flight list, adding the possibility to filter more than 1 field. What I've done myself was to transfert all the flights to excel and I added those filters and it is very handy. |

You use CVACARS, are you aware that the 4th tab over (Schedule) you can get a list of flights like from CYUL and can sort it by flight number, Aircraft, arrival, flight time? |

yes but it's not the same, you are always starting with your airport. What if you what to fly your 737 for 1-2hr at night? you can't find it with acars. |
