Thanks for adding Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) in the poll. I'll be home earlier than I thought !!!!!!!
Actually from Pointe-à-Pitre Pôles Caraïbes airport there are two flights a week saturday and wednesday direct to Montreal CYUL Airbus A 319 (4.45 h) Air Canada.

I thought you'd like a Guadeloupe destination JC. :)

I just saw Martinique to the south. TFFF Ft De France would also be a good destination.

EDIT: Shoot, the more I look, the more good spots I find:

TLPL Vieuxfort, Saint Lucia
TNCA Aruba Island, Aruba
TNCC Curacao I, Netherlands Antilles

Maybe even go one step further and add a bit more variety:

Montreal - Nassau
Quebec City - Nassau
Montreal - St. Maarten
Quebec City - St. Maarten

With 1/2 local island flights out of Nassau, and 1/2 out of St Maarten.

I like that idea even better!

I wish I had thought of that at first, with maybe an extra step:

Montreal - Nassau
Ottawa - Nassau
Quebec City - Nassau

Montreal - St. Maarten
Ottawa - St. Maarten
Quebec City - St. Maarten

Montreal - Bermuda
Ottawa - Bermuda
Quebec City - Bermuda

That would make 18 long distance direct flights, and then a wide variety of short to intermediate local flights from Nassau, St. Maarten and Bermuda.

Good idea!! Do not forget Bonaire too.

You can create one cool cargo PROP or jet route between Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao forth and back and forth and back and from Curacao, transfer to big tin cargo plane for flight back to Canada non stop OR stopover in either Nassau or TNCM.

That is why it is famously nicknamed as ABC ISLAND CARGO RUN.

Ok, thanks for all the feedback, the poll is now closed:

Individual flights to each of those destinations. 3 [27.27%]
Montreal - Nassau, then flights to destinations. 1 [9.09%]
Montreal - St Maarten, then flights to destinations. 7 [63.64%]

Given limitations in space left in Montreal hub, some destinations had to be cut. There's going to be a bit of everything for everyone and hopefully a surprise destination.

Final routes will be up "soon".

Sadly, there won't be a Caribbean hub at this time, but new Carib routes will be coming up "soon".

Sorry to hear that Caribbean hub will not happen at this time. I like the idea of Caribbean hub.

To expand CVA's cargo division, you can start cargo hub in TJSJ and fly all cargo goods from that to every Caribbean island. That would be SOOO COOL and there is payware airport company giving a great payware TJSJ scenery to anyone for FREEEEE!!!

Think about it.
