Just curious, would people fly helicopters if I did some heli charters out of Halifax?

I voted no but only because I can't fly a heli. But good on you for offering, Rick.

I wouldn't because I work all day on them, and they don't seem to fly as realistically as the planes do.

LOL!!!

Funny you should say that....do you get to fly many 747 / 767's on a regular basis to compare to the simulator? I mean...I'm wondering just how close they are to the real thing since you say they don't seem to fly as realistically as the planes do? :D

I fly the C172 on a regular basis and the default one is crap...the Flight1 C172 is not to bad...but they all suck in terms of aerodynamics when it comes to spins compared to real life :D

No I haven't flown any of the BIG stuff. or much of the small ones. but I have worked on small fixed wing and helicopters for over 20 years, so I have had the controls in my hands a few times. I am saying the helicopters in FS9 fly like a fixed wing. I don't expect them to fly like the real aircraft, or Microsoft would be charging a lot more for the professional version of FS X. I guess I'm saying that the helicopters are MORE unrealistic than the fixed wing aircraft. In my opinion. Now thumping across Canada in a 212 chasing fires, we all know how much fun that is...... ONCE!
