I for one really miss not having a hub here in Dorval. I'm familiar with the area and enjoy putzing around the neighbourhood. But having ATC available here requires a lot of work, I understand that.

But what if you got your hands on a bunch of local guys that are already operating here? These guys know the entire province, have a membership of about 60 members and have been established for about a decade. And best of all, they promote bilingualism on their site, which is refreshing in any Quebec league:

I know both VA have their administration, fleets, flights and ways of doing things, but we have no presence in Quebec and they have no presence in the rest of Canada. Two VAs can't complement each other any more than that.

I'm not saying we should join them or they join us, I'm suggesting we unite forces and work together instead of competing. We can both remain separate entities like many large corporations do in real life, but benefit from cooperation.

"United we stand, divided we fall."

Ok, that might be a bad motto 'cause I'm not sure United Aircraft still works. I'm sure multis would be a tad larger with both groups attending. I've never talked with these guys so I don't know what they think of such a venture, I'm just posting ideas in the Innovation forum to help CVA. :)

They do have a nice fleet:

I guess they already thought of the bush and seaplane service.
