That seems a little vague...what is the issue? I do not have the X52 but do have some experience with the programming software. Do you have the rotary mapped through FS or in SST?

Hi Chuck,
Sorry about the vagueness of the post. The rotary buttons on the X52 have been stumping me for months, and last night I thought I had it beat and posted how to set up the elevator and rudder trim as X and Y rotations on the throttle only to discover after posting that it was flawed so I edited out the steps and replaced it with what you see now.
I have succeeded in getting the elevator trim assigned to the top rotary not using the SST profile editor but through FSX itself, the rudder yaw trim is another story :(
At one point I had it set up as a "Y rotation" but if I set up anything as an "X rotation (the other rotary button) I lose the "Y rotation" it appears that in FSX the rudder yaw trim isn't recognized as an axis at all but merely as a keystroke which seems odd because in the king air 350 its a rotary button in the vc.
I've tried setting it up as an axis and as bands in the profile editor for the X52 but I just can't get it to work as one would expect ( the detente on the rotary button being trimmed to center and left or right pass the detente trimming left or right)
If you can offer any insight I'm all ears
TIA
Gary
