Hello from Saint John, NB

I've been flying the B1900D aircraft quite a lot lately on my CVA flights and I'm getting to like it actually :) ) There is a feature in the B1900D that is called"Groundhandling". I like it and use it on all my flights.

So here is a question: Is it possible to copy that feature (groundhandling) from the B1900D and install it in another aircraft??

I fly the Dreamfleet Baron 58 (payware) also and would love to have groundhandling installed in it. I know how to copy and paste the "entire panel" from the B1900D into the Baron 58 but would like to keep the default panel in the Baron (very user friendly) and add the groundhandling feature only.

Any ideas anyone ??

Thanks, Clay[U]

Clay, can you post instructions on exactly what you did to enable it in other aircraft?

Hi , this is a copy of what I put in Notepad to remind myself how to do this at a later date. Hope it works for you..
If you decide to use these instructions , let me know how it worked. This is first time I've been asked to give information re: changing programs
and I'd like to know if my instructions worked.
If they didn't , please don't shoot the messenger :D

Good Luck,

Clay

Note:: when installing this file [Window09] into aircraft use the following procedure:

01> open Windows Explorer folder on desktop

02> open My Computer

03> open Local Disk (C:)

04> open Program Folder

05> open Microsoft Games

06> open Flight Simulator 9

07> open Aircraft Folder

08> select aircraft and open folder { ie. beech_bar0n_58 }

09> open panel folder

10> open Notepad PANEL file

11> Important to identify the Groundhandling file correctly. ie >>If Aircraft panel has FIVE [5] Window Titles ;
create another one and name it Window06=Groundhandling

12> Note the number of Window Titles within this file. Copy and Paste the Groundhandling file you have selected below the last Window title in folder
ie >> If Window06 is groundhandling file insert (paste) it below information contained in the Window=5 file information
THIS IS IMPORTANT !! Also don't forget to change to [Window06]

13> The Groundhandling file from the B1900D << [Window09] >> below is a good one to use.

14> Save any changes made to aircraft panel folder

15> Exit Notepad and Windows Explorer folder from Desktop.

16> Start up FS2004 , select aircraft the Groundhandling file was inserted into and check operation of same.
