I have unsuccessfully searched the AVC FAQ's and forums for the answer to this without any luck. Can you people help me out?

I find that the volume of AVC is just too loud to enjoy using. in other words, if I have AVC running with my sim, I can barely hear the FS sounds while AVC comes booming through so loud that you can hear it upstairs...two floors upstairs. My sliders (SBLive!) are set normally. The only "clue" I picked up and will try is to check the "distortion" box...apparently that cuts back something or other, but any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks, all.

Start AVC. When the box opens up, You'll see three tabs. Connection, Audio Setup, Pilot Info.

On the Audio Setup tab, there's a Speaker volume slider.

Turn it down... (That's left, for you Easterners....)

I tried that first, but couldn't find a slider. Then I read your post and looked again but I couldn't find one. But this I time I opened the program from the start menu (rather than the icon), and noticed the PDF documentation file was in there. I read the thing and it said to adjust the volume with the slider (left or right). Hmm. Opened AVC again and there it was. DOH! Stop laughing, this senility thing isn't funny! :D

(if it had 'a been a snake, it woulda bit me!).
