Hey Gang, Just curious if anyone out there that has X-Plane 11 and familiar with aircraft painting might be interested in doing up some liveries for our CVA fleet in the X-Plane world? With X-Plane making huge strides in their latest version I can see this becoming more popular and only a matter of time before we will start having more and more pilots coming on board and looking for this. If anyone is interested / has the knowledge please let me know directly. Cheers!

I have never done this before, but can take a shot over the weekend. Do you have any logos for CVA that I can use? |

Hey Indrajit, Fantastic! you can see our logos from the main page on some of the aircraft. I think the easiest would be to try and download one of the MSFS aircraft and look through the texture / painting in one of those. Maybe start with something that is common already in X-Plane like the 737-800 which we already have in MSFS painted. I'll have to give this a try as well and never done before but just need to find some time to do so. Schedule is a little hectic at the moment... Cheers!

Doh! That's what I came here for today... looking for the default 738 in CVA colors (Zibomod) Such a fun aircraft to fly along with xp11 + Ortho4xp.. amazing! Maybe even the Jar a320 in CVA paint would be nice

I personally have not had the time to experiment with this just yet but may take a crack at it once I get back from my trip in a few weeks. In the mean time if anyone else out there has some painting experience and wants to give it a shot on the X-Plane 11 aircrafts please keep us posted! Cheers!

The textures created by by Chuck Dickey look like they were created for x-plane 9 and don't seem to work for x-plane 11. They can be selected in the menu but, don't show up on the plane. There are paint kits at this web address: http://www.eadt.eu/ Correction: the paint does work with the 373-800 from the above link. |

Well I did purchase X-Plane 11, but it will take a bit of time to figure it out. Hopefully I can get some of the basic aircraft we use in the proper liveries. |
