Unable to verify or login with CVAcars.
Everything looks ok including firewall permissions, info,
CVAcars boots ok but I get "Connection Error!" after about 30 seconds when I click on "Verify Log In Details".
There is no other information with the error message.

Any thoughts?
I am running win 10.

Running Windows 10, My condolences.
Sounds like its not connecting to the internet. Try seeing if you can see anything in it, like the CVA homepage/webpage or any others connected etc....
I'm thinking Windows 10 is stopping it from going online. I tried win 10 and everything worked great for a week, then all kinds of issues. I didn't change
anything, but something is windows 10 decided not to run any of my FSX stuff..... went back to Win 7. Thanks to a Disk Image it was painless 1.5 hrs
and I was back everything installed and working.

The "Web Browser" tab works fine. The other tabs are accessible but nonfunctioning.

Have you also tried running the program as "Administrator"? May be having issues with security related details.

Additionally, can you login to the CVA website with those same credentials ok? Just trying to verify if your account is actually correct / working.

Cheers!

Everything should be installed in a separate folder so windows doesn't screw with the permissions, I use "C:/Programs" not "C:\Program Files (X86)" or "C:/Program Files"
and run everything as administrator.

Run as administrator and it is installed under c:/FSprograms.
Tried compatibility options but still not connecting.

Is this correct URLBase?

Ok, tried another win10 computer and CVAcars connected no problem. Will have to compare both setups and see if I can find the problem.
Thanks for your help. :)

Ok, turned on a couple of settings under security and voila, CVAcars connected.
Turned the settings off again just to make sure and CVAcars still connected. :|
I have no idea why but, CVAcars is working for the time being. :)

Good afternoon,

As my PC is down, I have purchased a new one with Windows 11.
I have downloaded CVAcars but after entering my pilot ID and my password I have the following message.
CVAcars error
"C:\Programs files(x86)\FS Products\CVAcars\send.xml is refused"
Is somebody can help.
I have joined CVA in 2010 and have more than 1000 hours of flight and I am not ready to retire.posting.php?mode=reply&f=17&t=3635#
Thanks a lot
Jean Claude

Hi Jean-Claude,

Good to see you again! When you installed CVAcars did you install it as an administrator? i know we had seen problems like this on Windows 10 machines in the past. Download the file, then right click on the file and choose run as administrator. Hopefully that will install it correctly. You should remove the installation you have now and then reinstall per the above instructions.

You may also need to ensure that the program is allowed through the windows firewall both for incoming / outgoing.

Give that a try and let me know how you make out!

Cheers!

Hi Darryl,
Thanks a lot, the problem is resolved.
Right click, then properties, then compatibility and run as administrator.
Now ready to fly for CVA.
Cheers
Jean-Claude

Hi Darryl,

Sorry, I have replied too fast.
When I clicked on "verify Log in details" it was OK.
But when I clicked on "connect to FS", I got an "FSUIPC Error #14 cannot find FSUIPC"
So I downloaded FSUIPC4.exe
I cannot install it as I got the following message.
"Your FSX.SE installation is incorrect . The version of Simconnect installed will not runFSUIPC4. You may need to repair the installation to rectify this first"

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
Jean-Claude
