Dug this out of my downloads folder yesterday morning and started doodling. As far as complexity goes its an "easy" plane to fly but enjoyable for a nice relaxing sightseeing type of mood. As most of Tim Conrads older planes are this one is very nicely modeled (except for the triplet Pilot/copilot/navigator) who are cleverly disguised with different hair colours. :D You sure get the feeling you are piloting a powerhouse though. Anyways I've uploaded them to the head office in case anyone is interested in a nice little diversion.

Very nice Gary.
Should win a couple of screenshot awards if management goes for it. 8)

:) Thanks Harry, but have you seen the competition in the gallery? I'd have to get up pretty early to compete with those shots.

I like it lots too! But I still like his old Fairchild Porter as well. I tried CVA flight 1020 from Juneau to Sitka for my AN32 maiden flight, touched down at -414 fpm and didn't end up in the drink still had a fair amount of runway left to spare, not quite as challenging as I was hoping on but a nice place to land it just the same. Do you (or anyone) know any challenging runways I can try in the Antonov?

CVA + Vodka Burner = Looks Pretty Good, Too Bad it's FSX not FS2004, Can't Wait to Replace Win 8.1 Preview with Win 7 on my Computer to use FSX Instead!

Whew! thought I was going to spend the weekend flying around in my latest old clunker but instead I ended up in the maintenance hanger ripping apart the 2D panel that came with the AN-32. Piglet has a unique take on 2D panels as this one is exactly like the 2D panel in his fairchild porter, no background just the basic gauges and radio stack hanging on your screen. I didn't like it at all at first in the Porter but it grew on me and I soon realized it was a great way to learn about gauge placement and panel creation. Anyways I've added a few gauges to the main panel (flap position, landing gear lights, landing gear lights transition light, ramp extended warning, and the kneeboard icon). I also took some gauges out and moved them to their own "panels" (the FMD display is now [shift+3], the autopilot is [shift+4] the radio stack is [shift+5] and the magnetic compass is [shift+6] the main panel itself I left as [shift+1] and the garmin 500 is still [shift+2] They can all be pulled up to display as one original looking "cluttered" panel or they can be pulled up separately on demand.

A picture of everything up at once:

And one of just the *new* main panel:

and in case I forget the keystrokes to open the various new panels I wrote them in the new "checklist" file tab in the kneeboard (I put it right next to the new pretty much blank reference tab) I can't find most of the info for the AN-32 anywhere!

I also didn't like the default crj700 sounds on the AN32 so I went over to the fspilotshop sale and picked up the turbine sound set for the ATR72-500 (sale price $6) so now I got myself a "whiney" old clunker :)

I've uploaded the panel with the paint in case anyone is interested.
