Shalom and greetings all my pals,
Here is a nice westbound Wardair A300B4-200 flight from CYHZ Halifax/Robert L. Stanfield International Airport located in Enfield, Nova Scotia to CYYT St. John's International Airport located 3 nautical mile northwest of St. John's, Newfoundland culminated with amazing gorgeous approach and landing!!!!
Wow what a busy activity at CYHZ!!!
Air Canada E170 in background is leaving passenger apron for flight to Toronto
Being pushed back by airport tug
Taxiing on taxiway A to short of runway 05
Entering into runway 05 for take off via IGTAS departure
Airborne on climb to FL350 making right turn to IGTAS with background view of Veteran's Memorial Highway route number 102
Climbing through clouds intercepting IGTAS and starting to fly along J575 route
Right wing view of Atlantic Ocean, Porters Lake (you can see stripe of water running from the coastline up to the left wing) and Musquodoboit Harbour near left of the screenshot
Left wing view of Bay of Fundy, Scots Bay, Minas Basin, and Cobequid Bay from left to right in order and you can see water flowing inland from those bays. It is called Shubenacadie River which is famous for one of world's best rafting places especially this river produces front wave of this surge known as the tidal bore that averages speed of nearly 30km/hr!!!!
Now cruising at FL350 along J575
Passing CYPD Port Hawkesbury Airport, its nearby town of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia and waters of Strait of Canso
Crossing Bras d'Or Lake which is considered one of best sailing waters in North America and is home to lobsters, oysters, and bald eagles
Passing CYQY Sydney/J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport located 5 nautical miles east northeast of Sydney, Nova Scotia
Passing nearby town of Glace Bay which is largest town in Nova Scotia
Crossing Cabot Strait located between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland
Ahh sunset is beginning!!!
Passing LFVP (no mistake despite it is French airport code right in Canada!!!) Aéroport de Saint-Pierre located one mile south of Saint-Pierre in the French overseas community of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon off the eastern coast of Canada near Newfoundland. Yeah this island belongs to France, not Canada!!!!
Gorgeous wing view of sunset over Placentia Bay which was the site where President Franklin Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill met each other for first time for meeting on World War 2 strategy sessions.
Getting ready for approach to runway 11 crossing Conception Bay
I had to slow down my plane to allow the small sissy plane ahead of me to approach and land on same runway as shown on this screenshot showing the small plane over small town of Torbay on way to runway 11
Another gorgeous view of sunset over Conception Bay
On final runway approach to runway 11 passing Bell Island in background view
Wow look at sunset view
Cannot resist more sunset view
Moments from touchdown
Wing view of runway 34 and of course gorgeous sunset
Seconds from touchdown
Touchdown!!!
WOW wing view of amazing sky view over taxiway G and terminal
Braking down on very icy road which is not easy!!!
Exiting from runway 11 into runway 20 to taxi to gates
Excuse me if I cannot resist sky view!!!
Taxiing on runway 20 toward the terminal
Exiting from runway into taxiway F toward terminal
I am getting totally enthralled by wing view of beautiful sky
Gorgeous sky view while approaching the terminal gate
Arrived at gate to drop off extremely satisfied passengers who got best view of sky!!!
