I picked up the WACO YMF5 from Alabeo.com about a week ago and what a blast! Superbly modeled, the attention to detail is stunning! Comes with 5 textures and a blank for painting and when you start flying around in it you don't want to put it down!

Like I said the attention to detail is stunning every seam and rivet looks unbelievably realistic I hope the pictures do it justice.

The WACO webpage shows a glass cockpit something that Alabeo didn't model but still did a fantastic job on:
Image

A shot showing the left fuel indicator (its the little glass tube with the rubber piston thingy in the top center of this shot) The mirror you can see behind the fuel indicator actually reflects what you would see (in a basic way), and the reflection changes with every nudge on the flight stick. At one point I had the impulse to reach up to the monitor to try and adjust it :):
Image

the compass not only floats left and right but a little up and down depending on your pitch.
Image

The pilot is the most realistic I've seen, the only thing I don't like is he's animated to turn his head to the left only.

A few more liveries:

Here I am lining up to *storm the barn* while Aharon pulls out of his dive ahead of me ;)

A few closing shots with some funky Orbx background textures (CEJ4):

Hope you enjoyed!

Looking at your photos is nearly better than flying! Awesome!

:D Thanks Rob,
I'd love to take credit for those shots but they are really just shots taken cycling through Alabeo's "default" camera definitions. I think there are 11 in total and as you pointed out, Awesome!

I can't say I find crop dusting overly appealing personally but I just noticed Alabeo has released their PA-36 PAWNEE BRAVE 375 and judging by the "official trailer" they've released yet another ultra realistic model. Heck, never mind the model, the video is ultra realistic there are a few clues that the plane is simulated but wow sure looks real! It can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... -sczSVLJb8

:) I've always wanted a spitfire. The scenery of cottonwood is free without purchasing the plane by the looks of it. I just clicked the link and downloaded it. Nice enough little airport but pales in comparision to the modelling they do on their planes. I'm not sure about the mission I didn't try downloading it.

I just got this one a week ago, it's from Vertigo Studios and right now it's 50% off about $15.00

It flys really nice.

Can be bought here. http://www.pcsimstore.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-x/military-aircraft/pt17-stearman-model-75-vol-i-download.html

A Stearman! I was looking for one of those but couldn't find one I liked. Golden Age Simulations has one but it seemed like an older model and I didn't grab it, though I did pick this freeware "New Standard Aircraft Corp.". *5 seater* up somewhere on their site. Nothing I would fly a lot but fairly nice.

Thanks for the link Cal, think I'm going to go grab it. By the way did you install the update for Accu Feel (released in September) it adds "open cockpt" sounds plus a few fixes.
