Shalom and greetings all my pals,
Cayman Brac island of Cayman Islands had bad heavy rain which flooded some parts of the island and had hired DHL to haul 300 water pumps from KMIA Miami International airport to MWCB Gerrard Smith International Airport located on Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands so that the island could pump water out of buildings.
Heavily loaded with 300 water pumps ready for pushback!!
Starting engines while sun shone on the plane's right wing
Taxiing on taxiway P to short of runway 12
Still taxiing on taxiway P
Entering into runway 12 for take off to MWCB via MNATE1 departure
Airborne on climb to FL340 at heading runway above gorgeous waters of Miami
Time to make right turn to head to MNATE via FENIR as part of MNATE1 departure
Wing view of Miami waters
Passing Jones lagoon which is part of Biscayne National Park with background view of gorgeous water
Wing view of Blackwater Sound and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park located in Key Largo, Florida Keys where the park is famous for America's first underwater park featuring glass bottom boats, snorkeling, and scuba diving as well as fishing. You can see South Dixie highway route 5 running from mainland Florida to Key Largo where it runs southwest via Overseas highway route 1.
Because traffic between Florida and Cayman Islands was heavy with 14 planes, I decided to take scenic detour route by intercepting NMATE and turning right to MTH
Cruising at FL340 above gorgeous waters of Florida Bay near Florida Keys
It is pure fun to watch gorgeous waters of Florida Keys while following all the time one of world's most famous highways which is Overseas highway route 1
Intercepting MTH above KMTH Florida Keys Marathon Airport located along the Overseas Highway (US1) in Marathon, Florida Keys, Florida and heading to FIS
Cruising along the famous highway passing National Key Deer Refuge which is 8,542-acre National Wildlife Refuge located on Big Pine Key and No Name Key in the Florida Keys and is home to the endangered Key Deer with a current population of around 800 animals. 21 other threatened and endangered species of plants and animals are also found on the refuge, which includes 2,400 acres of upland forests, 5,100 acres of wetlands, and 1,050 acres of marsh.
Passing famous Key West and its KEYW Key West international airport moments before intercepting FIS
Intercepting FIS above gorgeous waters (sorry that I never get tired of beautiful Florida Key waters) and time to go to south to TADPO
Look!!! You can spot two famous airports KEYW and Kew West Naval Station in background while the plane was in middle of left turn to TADPO
Leaving Key West behind in background via wing view
You can tell from tail view that the plane was leaving Key West's gorgeous waters to enter into deep sea blue waters of Caribbean on way to TADPO
Cruising across Caribbean sea
Intercepting TADPO and heading to UVA to cross Cuba
Approaching Cuba's northern shores to cross the country
Finishing crossing Cuba with background view of Parque Nacional Cienaga de Zapata and heading to UCL
Gorgeous waters of southern shores of Cuba
Visual background view of Isla de la Juventud and its capital city Nueva Gerona signaled time for descent from FL340 to 10,000 ft
Wing view of intercepting UCL and turning left to head to LESOM on way to MWCB
In middle of descent crossing deep blue waters of Caribbean
Passing through clouds at 7,000 ft
At 3,000 ft turning left to get ready for final runway approach to runway 09
You can tell from gorgeous waters that the plane was getting closer to shores of Cayman Blac on way to the runway
Seconds from touchdown!!
TOUCHDOWN
Braking down on runway 09 with evidence of some flooding from bad rain
Exiting from runway 09 into taxiway A to cargo hold area of the terminal
Arriving at cargo hold area to make u-turn for final stop at parking spot with background evidence of flooding
Thank you for viewing!!! Stay tuned for next super exciting flight!!!
Regards,
Aharon
