... But we have no seaplane service.

There is a reasonable model of the Dornier Seastar by Jean-Pierre Brisard & Bob May at Premier Aircraft Design which is free and available for FS2004 and FSX. It even has a VC.

Image

This is the FA2004 version but the FSX version can be repainted just as easily.

Image

Is there any chance of getting this aircraft operational? We would have to make use of some of the seaplane landing points in MFS.

Is anyone else interested?

I will package it up for you and see what I can do about supplying a download link. It may not be for a few days though.

Hey John,
nice repaint! I'd love to see some seaplane routes for CVA as I've got a couple of repaints my self.

I've got a list of the 530 or so seaplane bases in FSX plus lists for most of the Orbx additions and scenery files added to areas from some freeware scenery, so there isn't a shortage of places to land on water with things to see. Hope your idea catches on!

Gary

Hey guys, just a thought here. I love seeing aircraft painted in the CVA colors, but we can't expect the site to serve all the "unofficial" repaints. But hey! That's what Avsim.net and Flightsim.com are for! Maybe consider uploading your paints there for all to use.

That's were I put my "unofficial" repaints.

Just a thought fellas. I'd love to take some of those new gems out for a spin...

For those that want my FS9 Dornier repaint, you can get it here:-

http://www.the-guest-family.co.uk

Log in with the username: CVA and password: cVa12345

and you will find it under the file service menu.

If you want to share CVA repaints with others you can upload here as well.

J.
