Its a bit of local history. I live in Guildford, Surrey, which is in England. The local Regiment was the 2nd of foot or Queens Royal Regiment (West Surrey) which Was based here in Guildford. Both my grandfather and my father served in it and it disappeared in the year I was born. A long time ago I needed an online 'name' when I Set up a PS3 online gaming 'clan' for my kids (there are some dodgy folks out there on the internet and this was my way of keeping their on-line gaming in a controlled environment) and I chose 'Paschal Lamb' after the regiments badge. The clan was a success, the kids have now grown up but the clan lives on with out them

Oh, in case your are wondering why I joined a Canadian VA, I wanted a relaxed VA, which this seems to be, and the two holidays I have spent in Canada have been the best of my life, I especially liked the people there. So why not?
