Quote: How's it going with the MD11V2 for FS9? Not very good. The Autopilot doesn't work properly in FS9 the distance arc is even off, the starters don't work and the APU refuses to start. gear and terrain warnings don't work correctly the overhead, engines, radios and GPS window popups opening and closing is an easy one though. The APU is the big one, the whole electrical system, air system, including ground starts all are tied to the APU, since FS9 doesn't have a APU, I would have to code one from scratch, which would include redoing the Electrical, Air and hydraulics systems. Sorry it's not going to happen. Just too many months of coding to do on a old FS version. It took many months to code the Electrical, Air and Hydraulic systems to work close to the real thing, lose and engine and everything has to be transferred to the next system to keep operating, You don't want the Stewardesses to get mad because they have lost galley power..........lose 2 engines and............it works. but I don't have enough hair to try and figure that out again. MD-11 V2 will remain just FSX. sorry.

I know I said I wasn't going to fix the MD-11 to work in FS9 because of the hair pulling but I did anyhow....... I have just uploaded the MD-11 for FS9 to https://public.me.com/cal_jordanDelete the one you have unzip and copy the whole folder to your aircraft folder. Should now be able to start A/C with APU and manual start. Panel windows are fixed. gear works, sound works. There is some stuff that doesn't work because it's FS9 Fire Extinguishers is one Enjoy.

If there is any problems you have email me at heli_mech@shaw.ca directly, It may take me a while to respond as I am in Slave Lake AB right now and the internet is not the best.
