Also commonly referred to as the "CVA trainer" or simply..........

"The Rapture"!

the Chief executive officer, head dog, big cheese, of Canadian Virtual Airlines, has picked up a new training aircraft for all the young recruits to hone their skills in and I took it out today to scout out potential sites for a location for a CVA training field and Clam Harbor seems to fit the bill quite nicely a nice turf strip (low cost) beautiful scenery (even with default FSX scenery files) and there are both free and payware sceneries available for the location. But I digress so without any further ado Pilots and Copilots may I introduce you to........

"The Rapture"!

Exclusive sneak shot taken while Head Dog had his back turned:

A few shots taken at the end of the strip while the chocks were still in place and prop covers haven't been removed, heck the luggage has even been placed on board yet!

Such a beautiful day! You know what? I just may not bring this bird back!

Thanks for watching!

Well if you look really close you'll see a few air bubbles Harry ;)

But as far as the radio goes, I haven't used one yet(remote controlled or Multicom)! The only thing I've tuned in this one so far is the weather. Rain and wind, and if you want to spice it up a little, foggy as hell! It's been to much fun watching this thing blow around and drift off course trying to land it :D Particularly at Clam Harbor nothing to guide you in if you're not on your toes you'll lose the strip in the blink of an eye. You've got to think "Trainer" or "The end of the world" to appreciate this one the most as far as I'm concerned.

Gary

I can''t seem to put this paint kit aside but I don't know if I'm making it look to "busy" or if the stripes just fills it in......

Personally, I like the stripes a lot. It might be the colour combo, or that the overall colour package works so well, or something else, but I like it. Someone picked a good colour combo for CVA some time ago, didn't they? (I assume those the the CVA red and blue you're working with in the stripes)
