Silly me, when I built this rig I installed an SSD, I weighed the options and figured ok, 128 gig SSD install Windows 7 and program files and use the 2 TB traditional hard drive for all data, it went well installed Windows 7, an office suite a few graphics programs, FSX... tons of space left over (59 gigs of the available 120 gigs) then............... that Differdender( just joking Barry) guy got me hooked on twin otters and sceneries..... now I'm down to 17 gigs on the SSD have to re-evaluate the SSD usage, maybe have to take more programs off the SSD and put them on the traditional hard drive. Well, the consolation is that by the time my credit card expires I'll have an FSX dream suite and the SSD manufacturer tells me that if I leave it running 24/7 I should expect drive failure in 114 years and approximately 2 months (1 million hours). LOL I've still got my first computer down in the basement, life was so easy when I had a 2 gig hard drive. Gary P.S. forgot to mention that I picked up another 1TB traditional hard drive to plop in this rig for video storage.

cheers More than likely it's me burying my head in that aerosoft twin otter paint kit for 6 or 7 hours and then reading new posts. Pardon my post Rob, it was in the dead of the night and the heat of the moment. Apologies to everyone. Gary

Check this out. It seems they have provided some scenery/autogen for where a forest fire occurred. I tried to confirm this by looking on Google Earth and Maps but could not be sure. It's about 30 km north of Kamloops at McLure. cheers

I noticed that also, I was up there about 2 years ago with a Bell 212 fighting a fire at McLure lake, there is one at Barrier also, This scenery is so good we can now use real flight maps to fly VFR now. I think by your pic that it is Barrier. I'm just about to T/O from Smithers to PG, I know for sure there was a fire just south west of Vanderhoof by the Dam, I'll check it out. Do you run FSCommander 9 ? if so you should hook it up with Google earth, its a moving map. but you can see exactly where you are with place names.
